The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet Member approval to undertake a period of public consultation on the draft Wirral Coastal Strategy. The Strategy sets out how and when coastal defence policy identified in the Shoreline Management Plan can be delivered. The Wirral Coastal Strategy has undertaken detailed economic, environmental and flood and coastal erosion risk appraisal to determine preferred options for policy delivery.
