The report of the Interim Director of Highways and Streetscene, considers objections to the proposed introduction of traffic calming and a 20mph speed limit in the Hillview Road area, Irby and seeks approval for the introduction of this scheme.  

Resolved – That:

(1)  the objections received and the officers’ responses, be noted.

(2)  the proposed Traffic Calming with 20mph speed limit for the Hillview Road area, as shown on the drawing no. DC/0562/100, be approved for implementation.

This proposal was approved by the Wirral West Constituency Committee in March 2019 and is included within the 2019/20 Transport Plan for Growth Capital Programme. The Council is committed to improving road safety across the Borough.
