The report of the Interim Director of Highways and Streetscene seeks approval for a twelve month extension to Planned Works contracts (April 2020 to March 2021) facilitating the options appraisal and procurement of new contracts from April 2021 onwards.

Resolved – That:

(1)  the 12-month contract extension for all seven ‘A’ and three ‘B’ Contracts based on the value for money and performance outlined in the report, be approved and;

(2)  it be noted that work will begin on procuring new contracts to commence from April 2021.
