The report of the Director of Delivery Services sought endorsement of a new climate change strategy, as agreed by the Cool Wirral Partnership in December, 2019.

Resolved – That:

(1)  the new strategy and the steps taken by the Cool Wirral Partnership to create an up to date framework that reflects the climate emergency, be noted;

(2)  the strategy be endorsed in line with the recommendation of the March 2020 Environment Overview & Scrutiny Committee;

(3)  the issues raised by Environment Overview & Scrutiny Committee concerning potential council actions to support the strategy for consideration as part of the emerging council climate emergency action plan, be noted.
