The report of the Chief Executive advises that ‘Love Wirral’ was launched in June 2013, to encourage people who live, work and visit Wirral to take pride in our local environment.

The ‘Love Wirral Grant’ would be used to encourage communities to ‘Love Wirral’ encouraging individuals, groups, schools and businesses to improve and look after their neighbourhoods. £40,000 would be allocated for the scheme, available only in 2013/2014, and would be split equally across four constituencies.

Resolved – That the funding and process outlined in the report of the Chief Executive be approved and officers be authorised to arrange payment and appropriate monitoring of the ‘Love Wirral’ funding.
