Removal of the single yellow line on Lathom Avenue, Liscard

We the undersigned petition the council to remove the single yellow line from Lathom Avenue. It serves no purpose and it is stopping residents from being able to park near their homes.

Lathom Avenue is situated next to Liscard town centre. It is a very busy road for parking, not only for residents and visitors but for shoppers and shop staff of local businesses.
Due to a single yellow line running approximately three car spaces long, residents can rarely park near their homes or even in the same street.
This has become increasingly difficult with the new flats and shop at the end of the road where there are also double yellow lines on one side, and another long single yellow line on the other.

We are asking Wirral Council to remove the single yellow line located in the middle of the street, which serves no purpose.
