Summary:
To receive the minutes of the meeting held on 19 November, 2007, which were received by the Council on 17 December, 2007.
Item 3 - EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Summary:
The purpose of this report is to update Members in respect of an evaluation undertaken by Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) of the impact of the Licensing Act 2003 and provide Members with details of the possible implications on the Licensing Service of Wirral.
Recommendation:
The report be noted.

Item 4 - APPOINTMENT OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003 SUB-COMMITTEES
Summary:
The Committee is requested to appoint the Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committees for the ensuing year.
In 2007/08, each Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee was comprised of three members and one reserve member, drawn from the pool of fifteen Committee members. The Chair was appointed on the day of each meeting.
Recommendation:
That the Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committees (including the appointment of Chairs and spokespersons) be appointed.
