Summary:
To appoint a Chair for this municipal year.
Item 2 - MINUTES
Summary:
The minutes of the last meeting of YSAC, held on 2 April 2001, are attached for information. These minutes were submitted to the Education and Lifelong Learing Select Committee in May 2001.
Recommendation:
That the minutes be noted.
Item 3 - TERMS OF REFERENCE AND MEMBERSHIP
Summary:
At its meeting on 8 July the Education and Cultural Service Select Committee agreed the following resolution:
"That the appointment, by the Cabinet, of elected members to serve on the Youth Service Advisory Committee be noted and those members be requested to meet, in the first instance, to review YSAC's terms of reference and to report back with recommendations."
The attached report sets out the likely issues that YSAC will need to consider, and their wider context, together with suggestions for representation on the full Advisory Committee.
Recommendation:
Members are asked to agree the terms of reference and membership of the Youth Service Advisory Committee.

Summary:
To fix a date for the next meeting.
