The report of the Director of Children’s Services informs the results of a tender exercise for the transport of school children to sports venues for swimming activities across Wirral from schools from September 2013 to July 2014. The contract has been scrutinised and all detail including the proposed awarding of contracts agreed by the Corporate Procurement Unit.

The report is exempt in accordance with paragraph 3 as it contains commercially sensitive information.

Resolved – That the recommended tender, set out in Appendix 1 to the report be approved, to come into effect in September 2013 and the award of the individual contracts to the recommended tenderers be approved.
