The report of the Director for Children seeks approval for funding in addition to a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) to enable a child with a disability to have their assessed needs met through the provision of a suitable home adaptation that will support them both now and into adulthood.

Resolved – That as part of the Family Support Scheme within the Council’s Capital Programme a grant of £33,516 be made in addition to the DFG Grant of £30,000 to adapt the family home and meet assessed needs now and into the future.
