RECOMMENDED

That in accordance with section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business, on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined by the relevant paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to that Act. The public interest test has been applied and favours exclusion.

Further to minute 15 (30/3/11) the Sub-Committee interviewed the three short-listed candidates for the post of Chief Executive.

On a motion by Councillor Green, seconded by Councillor Holbrook, it was unanimously -

Resolved – That this Sub-Committee recommends to Council that Jim Wilkie, currently Interim Chief Executive, be appointed to the post of Chief Executive of Wirral Council.
