The Director of Public Health presented his report which provided a summary on Wirral’s use of the Contain Outbreak Management Fund as the time limited, one-off funding has concluded. The Fund was given to help the borough’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and was approximately £14 million. It had been used in many creative ways, mainly on local outbreak management such as testing, surveillance and support or vulnerable residents.
