Resolved - That the land adjacent to 1 Yew Way, Moreton be declared surplus to requirements and the Corporate Director of Delivery Services / Assistant Chief Executive be authorised to complete its disposal to the adjacent homeowner in the sum of £10,000 plus the Council’s legal and surveyor’s fees.

The report of the Assistant Chief Executive seeks approval to the sale of the site of the former Lyndale School, Eastham.

Resolved - That the site of the former Lyndale School be declared surplus to the Council’s requirements and the Corporate Director of Delivery Services / Assistant Chief Executive be authorised to agree a sale of the site to Torus for £625,000 plus a contribution towards the Council’s fees of £1,250.

This report of the Acting Director for Delivery Services recommends acceptance of a tender and award of a contract for the construction of transport infrastructure improvement works on the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Key Route Network (KRN), A41 corridor, between Port Sunlight and Birkenhead.

Resolved –

(1)  That the tender for the KRN A41 Corridor Improvements, submitted by A E Yates Ltd to Wirral Council on 15 July 2019, be accepted.

(2)  That the award of the contract to A E Yates Ltd, in the sum of £2,620,864.47, be approved, subject to contract.
