This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The decision needs to be taken to prevent any delay in the procurement of the steel and ancillary items for the installation of the Alleygates in this financial year which is a requirement of the Home Office Safer Streets grant. The reason for the need to expedite the procurement is due to global shortages of steel and the contractors' availability. The Safer Streets funding has been instrumental in the reduction of serious acquisitive crime in higher crime areas.
