This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The decision to award a construction phase ECC contract for the West Kirby Flood Alleviation Scheme must be taken on or around 11 April 2022 so that the contract can be executed by 18 April 2022, otherwise the project delivery programme requiring completion of key construction activities by October 2022, which is a condition of Planning Consent, will not be met, and up to £8m in grant funding currently due to Wirral Council may be withdrawn.
