Reason for urgency:
On the 6th March 2023, the ASC&PH committee authorised the Director of Public Health to commence the re-commissioning of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for an initial five-year period from the 1st of April 2024 (with the option of two one-year extensions) to a value of £20,300,000 over the seven-year term. Following a soft market testing exercise and confirmation that it will be the responsibility of LA’s to make arrangements to cover the nationally negotiated cost of living salary rises for NHS staff, Committee is now asked to increase the maximum financial envelope for the tender.
