Item 1 - MAYOR'S COMMUNICATIONS
Summary:
To receive the Mayor's announcements and any apologies for absence.
Item 2 - DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Summary:
The members of the Council are invited to consider whether they have a personal or prejudicial interest in connection with any matter to be debated at this meeting and, if so, to declare it and state the nature of such interest.
Item 3 - PETITIONS
Summary:
To receive petitions submitted by members of the Council in accordance with Standing Order 21.
Item 4 - FINANCE AND BEST VALUE - WIRRAL'S BEST VALUE PERFORMANCE PLAN 2006/07
Summary:
Wirral’s Performance Plan for 2006/2007 is in two parts: the summary, which was incorporated into the council tax booklet and sent to all households in March, and a full performance plan including details of performance in line with statutory requirements, which has to be published by 30 June. The full performance plan requires the approval of the Council, being one of the statutory plans listed under Article 4 of the Constitution.
The Cabinet meeting on 20 June will be asked to endorse the Plan for subsequent approval by the Council, and in the meantime a copy of the report and Plan is being circulated to all members of the Council, separate from this summons.

Item 5 - SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT - PARKING STANDARDS
Summary:
Under the Local Development Framework, the adoption of a Supplementary Planning Document requires the approval of the Council. The latest such document is on Parking Standards, which, in line with the agreed timetable and following a full period of consultation, is due to come into effect in July. It will be considered by the Cabinet on 20 June and the Planning Committee on 21 June, and in the meantime a copy is being sent to all members of the Council, separate from this summons.

Item 6 - VACANCIES
Summary:
To receive nominations, in accordance with Standing Order 25(5), in respect of changes (if any) in the membership of the Cabinet and committees, and to approve any further nominations for appointments to outside organisations.

Summary:
To consider any other items of business that the Mayor accepts as being urgent.
