The report of the Director of Children’s Services seeks approval for funding a scheme to modify the home of relative carers to support the provision of a permanent home to allow one child (Child H) to remain in their care under a Special Guardianship Order. It recommends the most appropriate scheme to meet the needs for permanence for Child H.

The report indicates that £29,452 of this year’s Family Support Scheme has been committed to date.  The Family Support Scheme has an annual budget of £100,000.
